Death of Susan Peryam
Miss Susan C. Peryam, known to intimate friends as “Aunt Susan “ died early Monday morning of last week at the home of her brother, W.T. Peryam, across the river from Riverside.
Miss Peryam had been a helpless sufferer for about two years, caused by a fall, sustained in Saratoga, fracturing her hip. She was born in England and came to the United States thirty -three years ago. Thirty years of which time she lived in Saratoga with her sister, who passed on some two years ago, since which time Miss Susan has resided on the ranch near Riverside with her brother and family.
A large number of Saratoga and Encampment people attended the funeral services and paid last respects to their old friend and neighbor. The funeral was held at St Barnaba’s Episopal church in Saratoga, and services were conducted by Rev. Harold johns. Interment was made in the Saratoga cemetery.
