Edward Clayton Faulkner, 78 years of age, of Somerset, Kentucky, departed this life on Friday, August 14th, 2015 at his residence.
Clayton was born in Williamsburg, Kentucky on January 20th, 1937, son of the late Will and Nora Edna Lawson Faulkner. Clayton enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and camping. He especially loved to fish and made a trip to Florida every year. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Clayton was survived by his partner of more than 40 years, Florence Jean Hubbard; his children, David (and Joyce) Faulkner, Edward C. Faulkner Jr., Kathy S. Faulkner, and Frankie (and Sheila) Faulkner; Florence's children, Kathy Berry, Carolyn and Allen Hornican, and Terena McHatton; four brothers, Frank (and Wilma) Faulkner, James Faulkner, Arnold (and Colene) Menhollen, and Herman Hamblin; three sisters, Louetta Hamblin, Phronia (and Willie) Jones, and Phillis Faulkner; fourteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a host of other family and friends who mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Will Faulkner and Nora Edna Faulkner; one brother, Howard Faulkner; three children; one grandchild; and three great grandchildren.
Visitations were held on Wednesday, August 19th, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Somerset Undertaking Company and Crematory in Somerset, Kentucky.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, August 19th, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Somerset Undertaking Company and Crematory with Rev. Willis Jones officiating.
