Verlie Mae Drake 78 of Memphis TN a retired school teacher formerly of Atwood died Friday, Sept. 27, 2002 at Methodist North Hospital. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Monday night at Forest Hills Funeral Home on Whitten Rd. in Bartlett TN. Graveside services will be held at Forest Hills Cemetery in Bartlett on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. She was preceded in death by her husband John Maurice Drake. Surviving are 2 daughters-Janice and husband Ed Glover and Ann and husband Stan Penny of Trenton; 2 sons Charles Drake and wife Christie of Bartlett and George Drake of Mississippi; a sister Ruth Frey of Salt Lake City Utah; five grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was a member of the Sycamore View Church of Christ in Bartlett TN
