FUNERAL OF MR. ALDRICH CONDUCTED SUNDAY
Deceased Was Engaged as Caretaker for Aquidneck Cottage Industries
Services were held Sunday afternoon at the Hambly Funeral Home, the Rev. Nelson W. Bryant, rector of St. George's Church, officiating, for Fred A. Aldrich, who died Saturday after a long illness. Burial was in Braman Cemetery, the bearers being Nelson R. Duby, Andrew J. Rafferly, Morris Rosen, Arthur Page and Harry E. Nason, representing Newport Lodge, Loyal Order of Moose, and Joseph Sullivan.
Mr. Aldrich, who was 76 years old, had been for many years engaged as a driver, and more recently as a watchman for the New England Steamship Company, and had been for many years caretaker for the Aquidneck Cottage Industries. He is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter. Another daughter, Miss Catherine H. Aldrich, died eight years ago.
