Donald L. Anderson, 91, of Olney, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2015 in Sikeston, Missouri.

Donald was born May 3, 1924 in Sumner, Illinois, the son of Marvin and Leona Fern (Martin) Anderson. He married Helen L. Hull on March 14, 1945. She preceded him in death on November 28, 1997.

Donald was an avid Illini basketball fan. His two favorite pastimes were hunting and fishing. The last several years he enjoyed Jeeping with his son and son-in-law in Colorado and Utah. He also took pleasure in golfing. He was a member of the Olney Free Methodist Church.

He is survived by his son, David A. Anderson and wife Vinny of Hot Springs, AR; Daughter, Becky DeBurger and husband Mike of Westerville, OH; Grandchildren, Todd Anderson, Robin L. (Josh) Whittington, and Steven DeBurger; Great Grandchildren, Austin Anderson, Destin Anderson, Gwyneth Whittington, and Ellis Whittington; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brother, Phillip Anderson.
