Eretus "Petie" Rivers was a prominent railroad executive and real estate developer in Atlanta, Georgia. He worked for the Central of Georgia Railroad and started the E. Rivers Realty Company in 1908. He is best known as the planner of the Peachtree Heights neighborhood in the Buckhead section of Atlanta, and as the namesake of E. Rivers Elementary School and Rivers Road in Peachtree Heights.
