John Andrew "Drew" Newton, 18, of Wadsworth, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on August 17, 2015.
He was born April 23, 1997 in Wadsworth to Jim and Rita (nee Powell) Newton. He was a member of Reimer Road Baptist Church and graduated from Wadsworth High School in 2015.
Drew loved music, art, playing basketball, being outdoors and was a former member of the Wadsworth High School Show Choir.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, K.B. Newton. Drew is survived by his parents, Jim and Rita Newton; his siblings, Dan, Amber (Ryan) Young and twin sister, Caroline; his grandparents, John and Mary Lou Powell, Edna Newton; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family and friends will be received 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to services on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Reimer Road Baptist Church, 1055 Reimer Rd., Wadsworth. Funeral Service will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
