LaRue C. Diaforli, beloved mother, "Gram," sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2013. Born on April 22, 1930, to Harry Cohen and Lesta Staton, LaRue was preceded in death by her husband Antonio, and her son Richard. She is survived by her daughter Donna (Tony); grandchildren Brice (Patti), Christine (Rudy), and Rachel; great grandchildren Karina, Kieran, Annie and Mollie, great-great grandchild Maylee; her sister Ina and devoted nephews. Service will be on Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at the Church of the Incarnation, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Throughout her life, LaRue was highly involved in her church, her choir and her charitable organizations. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation as LaRue spent many years devoted to this foundation and the families it serves.
