Alice Marion Bennett, aged eleven years, six months and twenty-severn day, died at the local hospital Tuesday, of rheumatic fever, following an illness of six weeks. The deceased is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Charles Bennett, who are at present residing in Terry, but were residents of Bad Route.
The deceased was born in the Bad Route community, August 24, 1923, and besides her parents, leaves one sister and five brothers to mourn her untimely demise.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon from the Community church with Rev Dwight Ramage officiating and interment made in the Terry cemetery.
