Russian Actor. He appeared on film and in theaters for 60 years. He came from a famous circus-performing family. He trained at the Moscow Art Theater School. His first performance in film was in "Dobroe utro" in 1955. He appeared in over 200 films throughout his career, often playing character or supporting roles. Among them was the role of Agent Klaus in the 1973 film "Seventeen Moments of Spring." Durov also was known in the theater throughout his career as well. He served as main stage director of the Theater of Malaya Bronnaya in Moscow. During the existence of the Soviet Union, he was bestowed the honor of People's Artist of the USSR.
