Albert Hazewinkel, aged 65, of 0-13932 Windemere NW, passed away Friday evening at Butterworth Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Nellie, his children, James Hazewinkel of Grand Rapids and James and Judith VanLandegend, of Taylor; his grandchildren, James, Jon, and Joni; his mother Mrs. Johanna Hazewinkel of Coopersville; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Don and Clara Henry of Marne and Art and Ruth Rosekopf of Rantoul, IL; his brother and sister-in-law, Ben and Betty Hazewinkel of Newport Beach, CA and his sister-in-law, Mrs. Marge Harris of St. Petersburg, FL and Mrs. Leonard (Nova) Grotenrath of Grand Rapids.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 am at the Trinity Congregational Church with his Pastor, the Rev. Robert Kittendorf officiating. Interment in Rosedale Memorial Park. Mr. Hazewinkel reposes at the Van'tHof Chapel where relatives and friends may meet the family from 22 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm on Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Congregational Memorial Fund.

SON HAZEWINKEL, JAMES Mr. James R. Hazewinkel, aged 67, of Grand Rapids, passed away on February 24, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Nellie Hazewinkel. James is survived by his sister, Judi (James) Van Landegend, Jr.; nephews, James Van Landegend, III and Jon (Janet) Van Landegend; niece, Joni (Justin) Sabo; and several cousins. James was a Master Diver and had dove all over the Caribbean and the World. Cremation has taken place and according to James's wishes, no services will be held. Contributions in his memory may be made to Historical Divers Society or American Cancer Society
