1st Lieutenant Dailey was the Bombadier aboard U.S. Army Air Corps B-29-45-BW Superfortress #42-24715. He was Killed In Action when his bomber was rammed by a Japanese fighter on a mission over Mukden, Manchuria.

Note: The navigator aboard, 1st Lt. Tom Evans, and bombadier Dailey married twin sisters. Both wives had babies in the summer
