Margaret was born June 10, 1937, in Sturgeon Bay, the daughter of Elmer and Helen (nee Carmody) Cochenet. On June 16, 1956, she was united in marriage with Michael Heilman in Maplewood. For 20 years, Margaret worked as a lead person at Rexnord Corp. in Grafton. Margaret had enjoyed bowling, knitting, sewing, baking, going on vacation and taking care of her grandchildren.
Margaret is survived by her husband, Michael, and their five children, Jean (Stuart) Stein of Saukville, Joy (Tim) Schultz of Marinette, Jackie (Tim) Francour of Menominee, Michigan, Steve (Kelly) Heilman of Port Washington and Paul Heilman, also of Port Washington. She is further survived by 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Leon (Sharon) Cochenet of Denver; sister, Betty Schallock of DePere; twin sister, Mary Arnoldy of Mankato, Minnesota; brother-in-law, Joe Heilman (Janelle); and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, William Cochenet.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015, at Eernisse Funeral Home (1167 Washington Ave., Cedarburg). The family will receive visitors at the funeral home Saturday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Margaret will be laid to rest in Maplewood. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
