Bud Sherfield, 64, of 327 E. Flora st., passed away yesterday in a Stockton hospital after an extended illness. A retired farmer, Mr. Sherfield came to Lodi in 1941. He was a native of Missouri.
The deceased is survived by his widow, Mrs. Josie Ann Sherfield, Lodi, and five children. They are Omer Sherfield, Mrs. Jewell Hanna and Mrs. Margie Eden all of Lodi; Robert Sherfield of Stockton; and Mrs. Carrie Snow of Savoy, Texas. He is also survived by two brothers, Willis Sherfield of Spiro, Okla., and Asher Sherfield of Panama, Okla., and 20 grandchildren.
