Mark Steven Armstrong, age 64, of Northport, AL was a minister for 25 years in Florida, Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Alabama, the most recent being and associate pastor and member of Holten Heights Church of the Nazarene. He was forced to retire due to failing health. He was also a cancer survivor. Mark was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the oldest of 5 children.

After serving in the US Army in Vietnam for 2 years, he graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Business Management, then he graduated from the Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO with a Masters of Divinity Degree.
