Daniel S. Baugher, a retired farmer, died at his home near Frizzellburg, January 13, 1933, at 2 PM after a long illness of complications, aged 61 years, eleven months and ten days. He was a son of the late Aaron and Catharine Baugher, of Black Rock, Pa. The following survive him: his wife, who before marriage was Mary Myers of Samuel; three sons and two daughters, Noah, of Waynesboro, Harry, Edward, Lydia and Anna, at home; three brothers and two sisters also survive: Aaron, Lineboro, Samuel and Katie, Broadbeck, and Mrs. John M. Myers, Westminster.
Funeral services were conducted in the Meadow Branch church Sunday afternoon at 2:30 by Elder William E. Roop and Elder J. W. Thomas. Interment in the adjoining cemetery. The pallbearers were Herbert Petry, Harry Babylon, Arthur Frock, Harvey Petry, Howard Warehime and Sterling Young. D.D. Hartzler and Sons funeral directors.
