My great-uncle Ralph's name was Aubrey* Ralph Adkisson, but he always signed it as "Ralph A. Adkisson."

He was a graduate of Wheat High School in Roane County, Tennessee, in 1926 and was working on the Fort Peck Dam in Fort Peck, Montana, when he met Aunt Martha. They were married on December 31, 1938, in Wolf Point, Montana.

Some personal memories of Great-Uncle Ralph and -Aunt Martha:

One could see San Francisco Bay from their living room window in Brisbane, and they always liked to watch the Lawrence Welk Show. When they would visit my maternal grandparents (his sister and brother-in-law) in Davis, they would always bring my siblings and me a Cracker Jack box.

(*His first name is incorrectly listed as "Audrey" on his delayed birth certificate via Ancestry.)
