ROSEVILLE - Jerry R. Churchill, 69, of Roseville, Ill., died at 4:57 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2007, at his residence.

He was born Dec. 17, 1937, in Macomb, Ill., the son of Henry and Carol Elder Churchill. He married Elaine Schisler on May 1, 1964.

He is survived by two daughters, Tracy Churchill and Greg Lybarger of Galesburg, and Katie Churchill and fiance John Steele of Roseville; two sons, Jim Bundles Churchill and Cyndi Hennenfent of Roseville, and Sam and Michelle Churchill of Colchester; two grandchildren, Jehrid and Mya; three brothers, John Churchill of Tennessee, Ill., Jim Churchill of Roseville, and Sam Churchill of Morton, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Sally.

He was raised around Colchester, where he lived until moving to Roseville in 1974. He drove a truck for most of his life.

He was a volunteer for the Roseville Ambulance Service for 10 years. He enjoyed wildlife, birds, and his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Graveside service will be Monday, May 21, 2007, at 10 a.m. at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Colchester, Ill. The family will receive friends Sunday, May 20, 2007, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Corman Memorial Home in Roseville, Ill. Burial will be in the Mount Auburn Cemetery, Colchester, Ill.

Memorials may be made to the Roseville Ambulance Service.
