William “Coty” Allen, 30, died Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015, at his home in Lebanon.

He is survived by his wife, Tracy, of the home; one son, Alex Allen, of the home; his parents, Ivan and Carla Allen (newspaper inadvertently listed sister-in-law, Tanya Allen, as his mother), of Lebanon; Two brothers, Ivan Allen Jr., and his wife, Tanya, of Lebanon, and Josh Allen and his wife, Sara, of Lebanon; his maternal grandparents, John and Wanda Anderson, of Marshfield; his maternal grandfather, Jim Henson, of Springfield; one niece, Amy Allen; two nephews, Clayton Allen and Matthew Allen and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for William “Coty” Allen are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2015, at Holman-Howe Chapel in Lebanon with Minister Craig Hart officiating. Burial will be in the Grange Hall Cemetery near Lebanon.

Visitation is planned for 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2015, at Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Lebanon.

A memorial has been established and contributions may be left at the funeral home.

William Coty Allen, son of Ivan and Carla Henson Allen, was born May 4, 1985 in Kansas City, Missouri. He departed this life Saturday, August 22, 2015 in his home, Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of thirty years, three months, and eighteen days.

On June 9, 2012 Coty was united in marriage to Tracy Ann Wright and to this union one son, Alex Anthony Allen was born.

Coty was preceded in death by his sister, Amanda Allen.

He is survived by his wife, Tracy, of the home; son, Alex Allen, of the home; his parents, Ivan Sr., and Carla Allen, of Lebanon, Missouri; two brothers, Ivan Allen, Jr., and wife Tanya, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Josh Allen and wife Sara, of Lebanon, Missouri; maternal grandparents, John and Wanda Anderson, of Marshfield, Missouri; maternal grandfather, Jim Hensen, of Springfield, Missouri; one niece, Amy Allen; two nephews, Clayton and Matthew Allen; as well as a host of other relatives and many dear friends.

Coty spent his younger years living in Florida, and moved with his family to Lebanon in 1994. He was a graduate of Lebanon High School in the Class of 2003. When able, Coty worked with his father in the appliance repair business. He was a very unselfish individual and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.

Coty was family oriented and loved his son dearly. Spending time with his family and friends was very important to him. Music was central to his life and he loved playing the drums and listening to rock and heavy metal music. He also enjoyed fishing and camping in his spare time.

Coty was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, grandson, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will treasure the many wonderful memories he has created for his family and many dear friends.
