Firefighter/EMT Robert O'Toole was tragically killed in the line of duty on January 12, 1998 while working at his other place of employment, Washington Township Fire Department. O'Toole was on the scene of an injury crash on I-675 when a passing vehicle lost control and struck and killed him and Centerville Police Officer John Kalaman. We owe them both a debt of gratitude for their selfless service and their sacrifice.
