"Sioux Falls - A telegram - received here from Utah announces the death in that state of Harlan P. Pettigrew a senator from South Dakota, and a brother of Mrs. E.P. Beebe, also of this city. Another sister is Miss Alma Pettigrew of Wisconsin. A local relative has departed for Utah and it is probably the body will be brought to Sioux Falls for interment. Harlan Pettigrew spent the greater part of the last 25 years in Sioux Falls. He located here in the early '80's, and for some years was connected with the Dunning drug store in this city. For a time he lived in Port Loma, Cal. During the past year his health had been failing and he went to Utah in hope of restoring his heath."
