Mrs. Helen M. Winter, 76, of 513 Park Avenue, died at St. Elizabeth's Hospital at 8:05 o'clock this morning apparently the victim of a cerebral hemorrhage. Mrs. Winter, who had been ailing for the past few days, was taken to the hospital yesterday.
She was born in Belleville on March 10, 1886, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Schamoni, nee Elizabeth Ortlep, and married Louis F. Winter in Belleville on June 27, 1806.
Surviving are her husband, a retired stove moulder; three children:

James Winter, 509 Arthur Street
... four sisters:
Estella, wife of Roy Gilbert, 508East Garfield Street
Elsa, wife of Edgar Gross, O'Fallon, Ill.
May, wife of James Mellon, St. Louis, Mo.
Mrs. Ann Friederick, Coral Gables, Fla.
... and seven grandchildren. Three brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Senior Citizens Club of Belleville and the St. Clair Angles. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday from the Gundlach and Company Funeral Home to Walnut Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Dr. Paul Schlueter, pastor of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, will officiate.
