Jewell’s friend, Paul Sullivan, had this to say, “Jewell was a fixture to the streets of Cave City. He loved to walk, sit in the city park, stop by the business places to chat, or just peck on the window as he walked by. He loved going to church and worshiping the Lord. He also enjoyed cutting up and laughing; he had a unique and special brand of humor. He loved country music and liked to sing.” He had a collection of pocket watches that he enjoyed showing to his friends.
