KNOX -- Burial for Bertha Abner, 97, of Stuart, Fla., formerly of Knox, who died at 8:30 a.m. Thursday in her home, will be Monday at Crown Hill Cemetery. Braman & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Abner was born in 1887 in Hamlet. She is survived by a son, John, of Stuart. She was a teacher in the Knox school system for 30 years.
