JH ARMSTRONG'S WIFE DIES AT HER HOME NEAR HERE
Mrs MINNIE M ARMSTRONG, wife of James H Armstrong, residing one and one-half miles south of Garrett died at 9 o'clock Wednesday evening at her home as a result of dropsy and complications. Mrs Armstrong had been in ill health for several years.
Mr Armstrong's brother's wife, Mrs Emmett Armstrong, passed away at her home southeast of Auburn in Jackson Township at midnight Wednesday.
Mrs Minnie Armstrong was born January 22, 1881 in Jackson Township. For the past forty years she had resided in Butler Township. She was married to Mr Armstrong June 10, 1899. Their two children, both boys, died in infancy.
In addition to the husband one brother, Charles Friend of Berne, and a sister, Mrs Ida Kaufman of Buffalo NY, survive.
The body was taken to the Hinklin funeral home Wednesday night and will be returned to the residence this afternoon. Services will be held at the Butler Center MP church of which Mrs Armstrong was a member Saturday afternoon at 2 CDT the Rev Boxwell of Jonesboro Indiana officiating. Burial will be made in Cedar Chapel Cemetery.
