Ben Frank Barker, of 428 Carlin Street, died at a local hospital Saturday. He was a retired rancher.

He was born in Killerton, IA., on Dec. 11, 1885. He had been a resident of this community since 1923. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Missouri.

Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Ben Barker of Sheridan; one brother, J.W. Barker of Missouri; one sister, Mrs. Frances Lewis of Iowa and several other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. from Champion's drawing room with Rev. J. Fred Stilwell officiating. Burial will be in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.

Mrs. Abraham Mooney owned the plot according to cemetery records.
