Funeral services for Mrs. Erma Nell Yates, age 65, of Bastrop will be 2PM Tuesday February 3, 2004 at Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop with Rev. Jimmy Yocum officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Bastrop under the direction of Cox Funeral Home. Ms. Yates passed away Wednesday January 28, 2004 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Monroe.
Ms. Nell retired from Security Industrial Life Insurance in Bastrop. She will be remembered fondly by all who knew her as a loving mother,
grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
Mrs. Yates is preceded in death by her parents; Debs Victor and Mary Trimm Watkins, a son; Marvin Eugene Everett, and a sister; Dora Jean Andrews. She is survived by her children; daughter, Doreen Lynette LeBrun of Bastrop, daughter Mary Dianne Everett-Griffin and husband Terry Lee Griffin of Cincinnat, Ohio, daughter, Karen Regina Darner and husband Paul Darner of Modesto, California, son, Mark Richard Everett and wife Mona Everett of Modesto, California, daughter, Teresa Elaine Beard and husband Jon Beard of Modesto, California, daughter, Dana Lucille Richardson and husband Chris Richardson of Bastrop, son, Nathan Wayne Penrose of Modesto, California, daughter, Natalie Ruth Penrose of Jackson, Mississippi, seventeen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are Terry Griffin, Chris Richardson, Paul Darner, Jon Beard, Mark Everett, and Nathan Penrose.
Visitation will be all day Monday February 2, 2004 until 9 PM at Cox Funeral Home, Bastrop.
