Thomas Carmalt Blow, age 96, passed away July 5, 2015, of medical complications due to old age. Mr. Blow was a
native of New Bern, and was well known for his poetry.
He leaves behind his son, Thomas C. (Chris) Blow II
of TN; daughters Nancy Myers of MD, Linda (Brendan)
Egan of FL; Tina (Farrel) Turner of UT, and Pamela
(Tom) Wensel of PA. His daughter, Patricia Tsonis,
preceded him in death as did his parents, wife, and brother, William L. Blow. He is also survived by
siblings James P. (Dardenella) Blow of Smithfield,
NC; Doris (Frank) Varga of New Bern, NC; and George
Blow (Frances) of Indian Trail, NC.
A celebration of his life will be held at Christ
Community Church in Orlando, FL at a later date.
Interment will be private.
