OCNS - October 2, 2003 - Ellen Danette Curry, 44, of Pawhuska, Oklahoma, passed away August 19, 2003, in Norman, Oklahoma.
Ellen was born December 13, 1958 at Saint Joseph Hospital in Ponca City, Oklahoma to Dave Lee Crane and Emma Grimley. She was a descendant of early day Washington and Kay County settlers and was reared most of her life in Pawhuska. She enjoyed gardening and playing Bingo.

Ellen was preceded in death by her parents; her paternal grandparents, Harold Charles Crane and Alice Mae (Hall) Crane; maternal grandparents, Ed Grimley and Louise F. (Randal) Grimley; and by her beloved grandpa, Herbert A. Pappin and grandma, Ellen F. (Hall) Pappin.

Ellen is survived by five sons, Eric, Michael, Joshua, Adam and Robert; four brothers, Herbie, Dave, Billy and Jimmie; and two sisters, Alicea and Shannon, .

She will be greatly missed by her family.

Graveside services were held August 25, in the Pawhuska City Cemetery.

Johnson Funeral Home (McCartney's) of Pawhuska was in charge of arrangements.
