Died in London, Ontario.
Section E, Lot 198
Bill was orphaned at the age of 12 and plucked from a London Workhouse, sold as an indentured servant to a farm in Ontario and eventually joined the Canadian Army. His service during WWI took him back to London where he was reunited with his brother Samuel in Rotherhidhe. During his stay he met, and married, a girl from Woking (just south of London), Daisy May Strudwick, and started his family, my grandfather, even before returning to Canada with his war-bride ;)
