Janice Lynn (Spivey) Albertson, age 67, homemaker, passed away, Thursday, Aug. 20, 2015. Janice was born Sept. 19, 1947, to Max Walter and Helen Louise (Gardner) Spivey in El Dorado. She married Mitchell “Mitch” Albertson on Dec. 24, 1965, in Pretty Prairie. Her survivors include her husband, Mitch of the home; father, Max Spivey of Wichita; son, Bret (Lori) Albertson of Benton; daughter, Amy (Clint) Gilbert of Towanda; brothers, Roger Spivey of Sarasota, Fla., and Kurt (Michelle) Spivey of El Dorado; sister, Kynda (Merv) Wiltshire of Wichita; and seven grandchildren, Tyler Gilbert, Tori (Andy) Cramer, Harley Jo Gilbert, Bailie Albertson, Dusten Hadley, Dalanie and Abbriel Hadley. She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Spivey, and a daughter, daughter, Ali Jo Albertson. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Carlson Colonial Funeral Home, 200 S. Star, El Dorado, KS 67042. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25 at The Benton Church, 14300 SW 20th, Benton, KS 67017, with interment to follow in the Towanda Cemetery.
