CAROLIN, Anthony J. 90, of St. Petersburg, passed away Thursday, Nov. 27, 2008. He was born Aug. 23, 1918 in Syracuse, NY to Anthony and Sarah Carolin. During WWII he served in North Africa, Italy, and the Philippines. He received a BS from Syracuse University. He moved to Melbourne, FL in 1958 and worked for Boeing Aircraft. After moving to St. Petersburg, in 1960, he began a 30-year career with Honeywell. After retiring, he gave many years of volunteer service to the MOSI in Tampa. A widower, he is survived by sons, Stanley Carolin of St. Petersburg, and Roger Carolin of Philadelphia; as well as his sister, Rosemary Caldwell of Syracuse, NY. He is survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11 am Monday, Dec. 1st, at R. Lee Williams & Sons Funeral Home, 3530 49th St. N, St. Petersburg.
