NEWBURGH, NY — Caroline V. Belasco age 93 of Newburgh, NY passed away Sunday, Aug. 23 at Newburgh, NY. She was born on Sept. 5, 1921 in Brooklyn, NY the daughter of the late Louis and Josephine Mazzula Nucci.
Carol was a faithful member of Sacred Heart RC Church, Newburgh, NY and a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas.
She married Daniel “Bibi” Belasco who pre-deceased her. She is survived by her two sons Daniel M. Belasco, Jr of Milton, NY and George L.F. Belasco of Newburgh, her granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her brothers Leo and Louis Nucci and her two sisters Victoria Maniscalco and Marie Nucci.
Prayers will be offered Thursday, Aug. 27 at 10:15 a.m. at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY. A Mass of Chistian Burial will be held Thursday, Aug. 27 at noon at Sacred Heart RC Church, Newburgh, NY. Rev. Andrew Kurzyna will be the celebrant.
Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Newburgh, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of donor’s choice.
