Mrs. Hubbell was born on June 4, 1S19, in Clark county. Ohio, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin F Cornell who had come to Goshen irom Richmond, Virginia. When Mrs. Hubbell was thirteen, she came with her parents to Elkhart county,
and the family settled on what is now known as the McVitty farm in Jefferson township, northeast of Goshen. She was one of twclve children and the last one surviving.
In 1878 Milly Ann Cornell was married to Elisha H. Huhihell and to this union eight children were born, Anna, William, Merrill, Jennie, Benjamin, Lewis, Mac and Alice. But two survive, Mrs. Edward R. Lucy and Lewis Hubbeil, the latter of Minco,
Oklahoma. Thirteen grandchildren and gourteen great grand children also survive. Elisha Hubbard died July 14, 1877, and Mrs. Hubbell has lived with her daughter, Mrs. Lacy, since that time.
The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon from the residence on South Sixth street, at four o'clock, Rev. Magor of the First M.E. church, of which Mrs. Hubbell had been a member since thirteen years of age, and Rev. VanNuys officiating.
