A new tribute to honor Deputy Darren Goforth, who was killed in the line of duty, passed Tuesday after a vote by Harris County commissioners.
Commissioners voted to rename Horsepen Creek Park off West Road in honor of Deputy Goforth. Goforth was murdered while fueling his patrol car at the Chevron gas station on West and Telge.
