Ethel Lee Alexander, 89, passed away Monday, Sept. 20, 2004, at Paris Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services are set for 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, at Tudor Street Church of Christ with Bro. R. L. Clark officiating. Burial follows in Reeds Prairie Cemetery under the direction of Maxey Funeral Home.
She was born July, 25, 1915, in Lamar County to the late Dave and Nellie Stacie Moore.
She attended schools in Lamar County and was a member of Tudor Street Church of Christ. She began working at McCuistion Hospital on Sept. 20, 1962, and retired Sept. 20, 1985.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Terry, William, and Sammie.
She is survived by daughters, Patricia Alexander, and Ethel Davis and husband, Hobbie, all of Paris; two grandchildren, Tracie Porter and husband Patrick, of Plano, and Nikki Smith and husband, Jeremiah, of Paris; two great-grandchildren, Shaquel and Omarcus Alexander of Plano; one step-grandchild, Quanvonda Bell of Clarksville; sister, Lutreecia Lane of Paris; brother-in-law, Curtis Alexander of Seattle, Wash.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
