Kenneth Jackson, age 82, passed from this life on Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013 in Lubbock. Mr. Jackson was born on Nov. 9, 1930 to R.C. and Katie Jackson in Sweetwater, Texas. Kenneth served his country by joining the Air Force. While in the service, he earned the National Defense Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He married the love of his life Fern Marie Louk on Dec. 19, 1964 in Gaines County Texas. She preceded him in death on Dec. 14, 1991. Kenneth enjoyed dancing and playing cards but was most proud of his service to his country. Those left to cherish his memories are two sons, Kenney Jackson and companion Charissa of Lubbock, and Rodney Dean Jackson; one daughter, JoDean Marie Campbell and husband Dale of Levelland; one sister, Dorothy Singleton of Seagraves; three grandchildren, Chase Jackson and wife Tara, Brittany Nicole Jackson, and Jimmy Jo Jackson; and two great-grandchildren, Chasen and Kyler Jackson. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Eddie Jack Jackson, in 2012.
