Lawrence D. Kennedy, 63, on July 31, 2006 after a long illness. Mr. Kennedy was the son of Shirley Ross. He was a foreman with CSX Railroad, retiring after 30 years. He had served in the U.S. Air Force from 1962 to 1966. He was an avid bowler. Mr. Kennedy was a former member of the Third Reformed Church in Albany, but most recently a member of the Clarksville Community Church. He is the husband of Phyllis Kennedy; father of Christine (Dan) Petterson of Colchester, Vt., Scott (Marguerite) Kennedy of Hannacroix and the late Holly Fox; brother of Marshall Kennedy, Maureen Morgan and Dale Jenkins; grandfather of Kasey Fox, Autumn Holly Petterson and Abigail Kennedy.
