She was born June 17, 1921 in Blackduck to Axel and Agnes (Sather) Oldenborg. She attended school in Blackduck. She married Roger Larsen September 2, 1939 in Cass Lake. She and her husband lived for many years in Mizpah and also in Bemidji.
She always kept busy with seven children, her housework, sewing, and baking bread. She helped her husband work for the Minneapolis Tribune. She attended Zion Lutheran Church in Blackduck. She was a loving grandma.
She is survived by husband, Roger Larsen of Bemidji; children, John Larsen of Blackduck, Nancy Finlayson of Bemidji, Sue Segersten of Lake City, Florida, Randy (Deb) Larsen of Blackduck, Cindy (Doug) Ellingson of Bemidji, and Gary (Mary) Larsen of Blackduck; 22 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, John and Clifton Oldenborg; sisters, Doris Comings, Clara Feriancek, and Gladys McGee; a daughter Karolyn McNair, and a grandson, Damon Larsen.
