Funeral services for Cecil Everett Stanford, age 82, of Oak Grove, Louisiana will be held at 10AM Monday, June 19, 2006 at the Trinity Baptist Church in Oak Grove.
Reverend Gayle Riles will officiate.
Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove.
Mr. Stanford died Friday, June 16, 2006 at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, Louisiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mece Stanford and Lucy Harrison Stanford; and 2 brothers, Otis Stanford and Luther K. "Hawk" Stanford.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Stanford of Oak Grove; daughter Shirley Ratcliff of Oak Grove; daughter, Rhonda Hamlet of Plano, Texas; daughter, Cecile Stanford of St. Joe, Texas; step son and his wife, Steven and Debbie Smith of Monroe, Louisiana; step daughter and her husband, Linda and James Dupree of Forest, Louisiana; step daughter and her husband, Karen and Jerry McEntire of Oak Grove; sister, Dora Lee Cox of Oak Grove; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are: Jessie Abernathy, Jimmy Rigal, B. F. Varner, Rayburn "Pop" Crosby, Dennis Seamans and Tommy Jones.
Honorary Pallbearers are: J. P. Barnes and the Men's Sunday School Class.
Family will receive friends Saturday from 3 to 9PM at Cox Funeral Home and Sunday from 2 to 8PM at Trinity Baptist Church.
