Born August 21, 1931 in Sugar Creek, KY to William and Edna {Elam} Boggs. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband; Russell Hanshaw Jr. in 1983, brothers, Roy and Berl Boggs, father and mother in-law; Russell Sr. and Lily Hanshaw, sisters in-law, Mary Adams, Holline Mullins and Beatrice Carpenter, brothers in-law, James Hanshaw and Phillip “Tex” Hanshaw, nephew, Christopher Bradshaw and 2 nieces, Shannon Bradshaw and Renae Boggs. She is survived by son, Gregery Allen Hanshaw, Selawik, AK, daughter, Sonja Rhodes-Adams, Abilene, TX, brothers; George, Clifford and Cecil Boggs, sisters; Ida Mae Stallard, RosaLee Bradshaw and Janetta Huffman, grandchildren; Jaden Darlene Rhodes, Jace Logan Rhodes, Brent (Crystal) Adams, Brittani Adams, Russell Lee Hanshaw, Nichole Christine Hanshaw, Matthew Logan Hanshaw and Bronson Lee Hanshaw and 8 great grandchildren. Christine was born near Olive Hill, KY but lived her early childhood years on Mockabee Creek in Kentucky. She attended a one room school named Union until she went to high school in Olive Hill. She enjoyed travelling, outdoor adventures and music, but her greatest love was being wife, mother and grandmother to the family she adored. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371, burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, Vandalia, OH. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, July 22, 2016 at the funeral home.
