Mary Arth was born in St Paul MN, on April 3, 1861, and it was in the city of her birth, on November 27, 1884, that she was united in marriage to Christian Miller, in the Sacred Heat Church of that place. To this union two children were born, both passing away in infancy. During the past few months the three sisters of the deceased have passed away. To brothers, Joseph and Michael Arth, both of St Paul, together with the bereaved husband survive, and are expected here by Saturday to attend the funeral.
Funeral services for this prominent matron will be held next Sunday morning at the Catholic church in Terry, with Rev Fr McGuire of Miles City officiating, and interment will be in the Terry cemetery.
Mrs Miller came to Terry to join her husband, at that time proprietor of the terry barber shop, in 1919, and during the eight years of her residence in the community, endeared herself to a large number of friends, with whom the Tribune joins in extending sympathy and condolences to the bereaved relative. The deceased was an ardent worker in the Altar society, and her last appearance in public was in December, during the annual sale and supper of this organization, when for several hours she remained in charge of a booth until fatigue necessitated her leaving. Mrs Miller had also been a member of the Degree of Honor for many hears. She was held in highest esteem by everyone who she came in contact and her loss is deeply felt in the entire community.
