MRS. M. ZIARNIK DIES AT HOME YESTERDAY
Mrs. Michael Ziarnik, age 75, and for over fifty years a resident of this city, passes away at her home at 1134 South Twentieth street, yesterday afternoon.
Mrs. Ziarnik, nee Malla, was born in Poland in 1851, and at the age of 15 removed to this county, coming directly to Manitowoc where she has since made her home.
Besides her husband, she is survived by five children, Mrs. Mary Becker, Mrs, Katherine Kotzinski, Mrs. Jennie Paporski, Mrs. Pauline Derus and a son Wencel Ziarnik, all of this city. A sister, Mrs. Mary Mrotek, and a brother, Albert Malla, both of this city and twenty-eight grandchildren also survive.
Mrs. Ziarnik will be buried from St. Mary's Catholic church, of which she was a member, belonging to St. Rosary society, Tuesday morning at 8:30 with interment at St. Mary's cemetery, Rev. Father Kubiszewski officiating at the ceremonies.
