David Dewey Klingensmith, 66 of Ford City RD 3 (Center Valley, Bethel Twp.) died at 12 noon Friday (Oct. 16, 1964) in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. The son of Lewis and Anna (Grantz) Klingensmith, he was born March 7, 1898. Mr. Klingensmith was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church, Whiterock Lodge of international Order of Odd Fellows. He was a retired employe of the Vandergrift plant of the United States Steel Company. He is survived by his wife, Olive (Woodside) Klingensmith; two sons, George L. Klingensmith of Leechburg RD 1 and David E. Klingensmith of Ford City RD 3; two daughters Mrs. Richard (Rose Mary) King of Ford City and Mrs. Rudolph (Clara) kardos of Vandergrift; ten grandchilden; three brothers, Charles Klingensmith of Ford City RD 3, Harry Klingensmith of Sharpsville and Clearson Klingensmith of Ford City RD 3, and one sister, Mrs. Harry (Marie) Toy of Leechburg RD 1. KLINGENSMITH - Friends of David Dewey Klinggensmith of Ford City RD 3 (Center Valley, Bethel Twp.) who died at 12 noon Friday (Oct. 16, 1964) in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights, will be received at the J. Bruce Armstrong Funeral Home, Main and Second St., Leechburg until noon Monday and from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at the Bethel Lutheran Church. Rev. Sidney E. Kuhn will officiate at the 2 p.m. service on Monday at the church. Burial will follow in the Bethel Cemetery. Members of the International Order of Odd Fellows, of which Mr. Klingensmith was a member at the Whiterock Lodge, will conduct a service at 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Arrangements by Armstrong.
