"Herman Love of Modesto died at Alexander Cohen Hospice House, Hughson. Mr. Love was a native of Ardmore, Okla., and had lived in Modesto since 1945. He was a forklift driver with S&W Fine Foods for 35 years. He enjoyed playing cards.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Love of Modesto; children, Ruth Manning and Kevin Love, both of Empire, Lu Nunes of Riverbank and Leta Love of Modesto; and five grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Lessie Love; 13 (11) siblings; and one great-granddaughter.
A graveside service will be at 1:30p.m. Tuesday at Lakewood Memorial Park, Hughson. ... ."
