FORMER LOCAL RESIDENT DIES

Mrs. Mabel Barnwell, of Pulaski, Virginia, Passes away on Sunday

Mrs. Mabel Barnwell, daughter of the Late Mr.and Mrs. David S. Forney, who formerly resided at what is now The Bream Home, West Confederate Avenue, died at her home in Pulaski, Virginia, Sunday.

The body will arrive in Gettysburg, Tuesday morning at 8:14 o'clock, and will be buried, in Evergreen Cemetery, with services conducted by the Rev. Dwight F. Putman, pastor of Christ Lutheran Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Miss Nancy Barnwell, two sisters, Mrs. G.W. Porter, Leominster, Massachusetts, and Miss Josephine Forney of Pulaski, Virginia, and one brother, Samuel W. Forney, of Jefferson City, Tennessee.

Mrs. Barnwell was a cousin of Mrs. H.C. Picking and D.J. Forney, of Gettysburg.
