Victoria (Craft) Holbrook was the daughter of Benjamin W. Craft and Henrietta "Hennie" Adams. She married first to Martin T. Venters on February 19, 1906, at John Venter's in Letcher County, KY. Almost exactly two years after Martin's death on February 6, 1907, Victoria married second to John Quincy Holbrook on February 3, 1909, at Henry Craft's in Letcher County, KY.

Victoria's grave marker has her name listed as Ibby Victoria Holbrook; however, no other evidence has been found that her first name was "Ibby". Ironically, John Holbrook's first wife was Ibby V. Craft, the daughter of Enoch A. Craft and Polly Ann Caudill. She died on April 30, 1907 (suicide by hanging).

The obituary of Victoria (Craft) Holbrook as published in the August 19, 1909, issue of The Mountain Eagle:

Mrs. Victoria Holbrook

Last Saturday night the young wife of John Q. Holbrook passed to the great beyond. Victoria had been confined to her room for more than two months and her death was not unexpected. The couple had been married only about ten months. Mrs. Holbrook was the youngest daughter of Mrs. Hennie Craft and was the second wife of her husband. Just a few years ago she married Martin Venters, a brother of Dr. Venters of this place, he living a short while only after the marriage. Victoria was a handsome and intelligent lady of strong character and we are grieved to hear of her death. The Eagle offers sympathy to bereaved friends.
