Jack Dempsey Scraper age 75 passed away Sunday, March 29, 2009 at his residence in Tulsa, Oklahoma surrounded by his loving family members. Jack was born May 29, 1933 in Stilwell, Oklahoma to Ice Scraper and Minnie Mae (Ellis) Scraper. He attended Stillwell High School. He enlisted into the United States Navy during the Korean War and was honorably discharged. Jack married Betty Sue (Linn) Scraper in Huntsville, Arkansas on January 28, 1966. Before retiring Jack worked as a meat cutter for twenty years for Safeway Food Stores. Jack was preceded in death by his parents: Ice and Minnie Scraper; three sisters: Beulah Still, Dora Scraper, Lucy Scraper; two sons: Jack Scraper, Jr., Donny Scraper; and one granddaughter: Chrystal Lynn Condon. He is survived by his wife: Betty Sue Scraper of Tulsa; his children: Charles A. Scraper of Tulsa; Joyce G. Johnson of Tulsa, Trudy Jo Condon and her husband, Ralph of Tulsa; Jacqueline D. Caldwell and her husband, Alan of Bixby; Daniel J. Scraper and his wife, Kamita of Tulsa; Jennifer D. Miller and her husband, Onney of Tulsa; Susan D. Scraper and fiance, Chris Langlias of Tulsa; special son: Brian J. Coppedge of Tulsa, special sister: Mary Jane Alexander of Tulsa; brothers: Charlie W. Scraper of Denver, Colorado; Kirk A. Scraper of Tahlequah, OK., twenty-one grandchildren (twelve boys and nine girls); one great grandson and three great granddaughters. Services will be 2:00 Thursday, April 2, 2009 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel. Reverend Gary Volz will officiate. Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C.
