She married Phillip Geisbuhler on 13 November 1894 in Lucas County, and they had Harold Robert, Mae E., Joseph Arlington, and Ray Alexander. Julia belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary. She had an eighth grade education. After Phillip's death in 1935, she married William Geisbuhler, his brother, on 12 November 1938 in Sandusky County.
