Maxine E. (Short) Hahn, 89, of Midland, passed away Monday morning, August 31, 2015, at Brittany Manor. She was born September 1, 1925, in Saginaw, daughter of the late Laurel and Florence (Chase) Short.

On April 28, 1944, she married Harvey E. Hahn, and together they had four children. Surviving Maxine are her four children, Darryl (Fran) Hahn, Jody Johnson, Dana Hahn and Heidi Hahn; five grandchildren, Shawn (Teresa) Hahn, Dane (Kim) Hahn, Marnie Seefeld, Alitha (Brian) Klele, Tara Johnson; seven great-grandchildren; and sisters, Wilma Letts and Marceline Ordiway.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey E. Hahn, on July 13, 1984; four brothers and one sister.

Funeral and committal services for Maxine will take place 12 noon on Thursday, September 3, 2015, from the Ware Smith Woolever Funeral Chapel, 1200 West Wheeler Street, with a private family interment to take place in Homer Township Cemetery.

Maxine's family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 10 a.m. until time of the service.
